Indiana Farmers Insurance is currently looking for a Junior Platform Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The ideal candidate will be located in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, or Michigan.
The Junior Platform Engineer is an entry-level role that provides hands-on experience with supporting applications, systems, and infrastructure. This position focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting with deployments, automation, and user support across IT environments. This is a great opportunity as the Junior Platform Engineer will be offered mentorship and training to build foundational skills in DevOps, system administration, and IT operations.

Responsibilities for the Junior Platform Engineer:
- Associate's degree in computer technology, information systems or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Coursework, internship or hands-on experience with system administration, cloud platforms and/or IT Support
- Analytical mindset and basic problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn technical concepts and operational practices
