What a Typical Day Could Look Like
As a Legal Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting Kairoi’s in-house Legal team in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment. This role is primarily administrative and research-focused, with an emphasis on organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality. You’ll work closely with legal professionals and gain exposure to the legal processes that support corporate operations, compliance, and risk management within the multifamily industry.
You Are the Legal Support Champion!
- Assist with organizing, maintaining, and digitizing legal files, contracts, and records
- Support contract management processes, including tracking agreements and key dates
- Assist with legal research projects related to corporate policies, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Help prepare internal legal documentation, summaries, and reports as needed
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and documentation for legal requests
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive legal and business information
- Represent Kairoi in a professional and positive manner at all times

Key Skills and Abilities Needed to Succeed in This Role:
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive legal information
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft and Google platforms
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, research, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Interest in law, legal studies, compliance, or a related field (pre-law or law students encouraged to apply)
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Able and willing to work the required schedule for the duration of the internship
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the past 12 months
