Description


Weiser Memorial Hospital--rated as one of Idaho's best places to work--is looking to hire a Provider & Community Liaison to join our team. 

  

The Provider and Community Liaison will work closely with the Marketing & Community Relations Manager to build relationships and promote Weiser Memorial Hospital’s (WMH) services to other medical facilities and to the public. Be a key representative for WMH publicly and within other medical facilities, demonstrating strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills. With the Marketing & Community Relations Manager, work on coordinating visits and communication with outside agencies and educational and marketing/public relations opportunities in the community. Outreach to clinical entities and public events to inform on and encourage use of WMH services.

Requirements


Responsibilities:   

  • Survey local primary and specialty providers/facilities to grow physician referrals and connect our facility with the local healthcare community
  • Travel to and meet with local providers to promote WMH’s services
  • Ensure compliance with marketing goals and philosophies of WMH
  • Implement marketing plans to achieve goals
  • Cultivate relationships within the communities and build trust with patients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with WMH personnel regarding referrals, evaluations, and marketing activities
  • Complete required paperwork, manage correspondence, and maintain data to support referrals and marketing efforts
  • Lead events to build community trust and promote WMH and its services
  • Build trust with referring providers, streamline referral processes, ensure smooth communication between referring providers and WMH
  • Foster a positive image for the facility and staff
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized, and function under stressful circumstances
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in public relations, marketing, business, sales, or related field.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
  • Strong computer knowledge: including word processing, spreadsheets, graphic design, etc.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance and ability to travel to other locations.
  • Experience with proposal development.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression.
  • High level of personal presentation.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and cope with potentially stressful situations.
