Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a day-shift travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital in Hobbs, New Mexico.

This is a 26-week assignment working a 7 on / 7 off schedule in a structured inpatient pharmacy environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for pharmacists experienced in acute care settings who are comfortable managing a broad range of inpatient pharmacy responsibilities including dosing, monitoring, and sterile compounding.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 26-week contract
• 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Day shifts: 07:00–17:00
• Block scheduling utilized
• On-call required during scheduled work weeks
• Every other weekend coverage required

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $2,766 per week
• W2: $38.00 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform inpatient medication dosing and monitoring
• Manage anticoagulation and pharmacokinetic dosing
• Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring and warfarin dosing
• Prepare sterile and intravenous medications
• Utilize automated dispensing systems (Pyxis)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Document using Epic EMR

FACILITY OVERVIEW
• Short-term acute care hospital
• Approximately 36–61 beds
• Patient population includes neonates through geriatrics
• Epic charting system

• Minimum 1 year inpatient or acute care pharmacist experience required
• Active Pharmacist (RPh) license required
• IV certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to work 7 on / 7 off schedule required
• On-call availability required
• Must work every other weekend as scheduled
• Willingness to float to nearby sister facilities if needed

Important Notes:
• 50-mile radius rule applies (locals accepted at lower rate)
• RTO must be submitted upfront (over 7 days may delay offer)
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Facility does not accept background hits
• 2 supervisory references required within last 3 years
