Experience & Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene assessments, cleanings, and preventive treatments
- Take and process dental X-rays as appropriate
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, disease prevention, and at-home care
- Provide compassionate care to children and support a calm, positive experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart clinical findings
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to support patient care plans
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
- Active Dental Hygienist license per state requirements
- Previous hygiene experience preferred; pediatric experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of child-friendly dental hygiene techniques and patient education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
