Terrazzo & Marble Supply is looking for a Social Media Specialist. This full-time, permanent role is an addition to our growing Marketing team to support our company's continued growth. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and execute social media strategies and content to enhance brand awareness and engagement and grow our social media presence.


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement and grow our social media presence across platforms such as LinkedIn and Meta. 
  • Create compelling social media content, including posts, graphics, and videos, tailored to our target audiences. 
  • Collaborate with various teams or departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging that supports major product/brand launches and marketing events with social content
  • Manage our editorial calendar and own content planning 
  • Own proactive community engagement with fans such as responding to comments/messages, manage negative comments, tagging and following, engaging in social conversations, utilize user-generated content or running contests
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance and report on key metrics. 
  • Identify and quickly act on real-time content opportunities or trends, and make ongoing recommendations for net new content formats, channels, creative optimizations or new opportunities to elevate T&M’s social media presence
  • Identify and manage influencer relationships when applicable
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Pay: $75,000 annually, depending on industry experience, potential to earn a yearly bonus, depending on company and individual      performance. 

  

What you need to get the job done:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or branding.
  • Have the ability to manage different brand voices and ensure brand consistency in copy and creative through tone, voice and terminology.
  • Strong knowledge of major social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Canva).
  • Demonstrated experience developing social media content and copy that drives engagement with key audiences and supports business goals.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities. 
  • Travel frequently for shoots, creator collabs, and brand events.
  • Proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects on a fast timeline.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be willing to work in office at our Wheeling HQ 3+ days a week, with an anticipated location change to Woodridge in 2027.
