Job Summary:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you are responsible for driving community engagement initiatives to support the organization. Your objective is to advance the school’s mission and growth through effective marketing, social media management, fundraising efforts, and community engagement. You will support the marketing team in various marketing initiatives, create and share engaging content, assist in planning and executing community events, and develop community partnerships. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and organized individual with a strong background in customer service, content creation, and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:
1) Social Media:
- Oversee all social media accounts for both Harrisburg Christian School and West Shore Christian Academy, ensuring consistent and timely messaging.
- Work with faculty, staff, and administration to collect stories and communicate school news effectively.
- Create and edit visual and written social media content to effectively tell the story of CSAGH through highlighting daily school life, chapel, and events.
- Collaborates closely with the Senior Marketing Coordinator to manage social media and create engaging content.
2) Community Engagement:
- Assist with event planning and execution for admissions and donor appreciation events, fundraising efforts, and other community outreach activities.
- Build and nurture relationships with community partners, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations that support the school's goals.
- Work with parent and student ambassadors to positively represent the organization.
- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of community engagement initiatives through systems to ensure timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide support to the Chief Enrollment Management Officer in community engagement-related tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and strategic planning.
- Maintain high-quality communication with donors, partners, and internal stakeholders to foster positive relationships and promote the school's mission.
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, associate’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in social media management preferred.
- Previous experience with community engagement preferred.
- Experience with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and basic graphic design preferred (e.g., Canva, Meta Business Suite).
- High degree of skill with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional phone, email, written and oral communication, customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and competently present data.
- Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently and sets goals and objectives.

Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand, sit, move around the office for extended periods, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting, bending, and carrying materials and supplies.
- Operate a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written, and listen regularly.
