We’re now hiring a passionate Campaign Strategist to seek out opportunities and push issues related to companion animals into the media spotlight and public consciousness, waking people up to the facts and our philosophy of how to change exploitive practices. You'll be responsible for seeking out opportunities, strategizing, suggesting, and coordinating various efforts related to companion animals. Past campaigns have included legislation to ban the breeding of French bulldogs and other breathing-impaired breeds (BIBs), creating ads to highlight the suffering of snakes and birds in captivity; educating the public about the dangers of letting cats roam outside; coming up with creative ideas to end the cruel practice of keeping dogs chained outside; working to phase out the use of K9 dogs in dangerous police work; and much more to save lives and prevent cruelty. We’re interested in strategic candidates with creative ideas, motivated to set the vision for companion animal campaign execution and put emerging and underrepresented companion animal issues on the map. If you are a grounded but strategic ideas person looking to truly make a difference, apply here!
