We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Products team. This role will lead and grow our Embodied Carbon for Products digital solutions. This role is responsible for shaping product strategy, translating market and customer needs into scalable digital offerings, and ensuring our solutions are scientifically robust, commercially viable, and impactful.

The Product Manager will work closely with a dedicated Product Salesperson, Account Managers, and Innovation & Technology teams to guide research, data development, and product delivery. This role sits at the intersection of sustainability science, digital product development, and customer success.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap 

Own the product vision and roadmap for ClimeCo’s Embodied Carbon for Products Digital Carbon Solutions

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with team members and stakeholders

• Monitor project progress and ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget

• Conduct and iterate on a thorough TAM process for the Embodied Carbon Product

• Develop and maintain internal ROI/business case analyses for the product

• Define product requirements based on customer needs, market trends, regulatory drivers, and internal capabilities

• Prioritize features and enhancements to balance scientific rigor, customer value, scalability, and time to market

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with the dedicated Product Salesperson to support go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and customer conversations

• Collaborate with Account Managers to understand customer use cases, feedback, and implementation needs across industries 

• Develop and ensure execution of product roadmap with Innovation & Technology

Research, Data & Methodology

• Translate embodied carbon and life cycle assessment (LCA) concepts into usable, defensible digital products

• Support development and maintenance of emissions factors, datasets, and calculation methodologies related to product-level embodied carbon

• Ensure alignment with relevant standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 14040/44, GHG Protocol Product Standard, EPDs)

Product Delivery & Lifecycle Management

• Write clear product requirements and user stories

• Guide pilots, launches, and ongoing improvements of embodied carbon digital solutions

• Monitor product performance, adoption, and customer outcomes to inform continuous improvement

• Define and articulate the product’s customer value proposition and measurable ROI, partnering with Sales and Marketing to position and communicate that impact to clients

Stakeholder Communication

• Act as a subject matter bridge between technical teams, commercial teams, and customers

• Contribute to internal and external product documentation, training materials, and thought leadership

• Support client presentations, proposals, and workshops as needed

Requirements

  

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, sustainability consulting, climate tech, or related fields 

• Experience working with digital platforms, data-driven products, or software-enabled services

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, customer-facing teams, and technical experts

• Strong business P&L acumen and experience to achieve and report on profitable growth using financial tools, forecasts, reports, and data

• Willing to travel up to 10% throughout the year

• Strategic thinker with strong execution skills

• Customer-centric and commercially minded

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving product spaces

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Passion for climate impact and sustainability innovation

Desired Requirements

· Familiarity with construction materials, manufacturing, consumer products, or supply chain emissions

· Background in sustainability standards, reporting frameworks, or environmental markets

· Understanding of embodied carbon, life cycle assessment, or product-level GHG accounting

· Experience supporting B2B SaaS or digital consulting products

Salary Description
130,000 to 160,000
