About the Role
People Results is seeking an experienced Labor Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor to organizations navigating complex labor and employee relations challenges. This role is designed for professionals who bring credibility, sound judgment, and a consultative mindset—those who enjoy partnering with leaders, influencing outcomes, and delivering thoughtful, strategic solutions.
Reporting to the Managing Director and/or Labor Project Lead, the Labor Consultant works closely with fellow consultants and client leadership teams to diagnose issues, design tailored strategies, and support execution during critical moments. While the role offers the flexibility of a fully remote structure, frequent domestic travel is required to support on-site client engagements. Work schedules vary based on client needs and may include evenings or weekends.
Purpose of the Position
The primary purpose of the Labor Consultant is to deliver high-quality, customized consulting services that help clients achieve desired labor and organizational outcomes. Consultants partner with team members and clients to assess risks, clarify options, and implement solutions across labor and employee relations, including card mitigation, NLRB election campaigns, training, coaching, and communications.
Consultants are expected to understand the full suite of People Results services and collaborate across labor, leadership development (OD), and communications to deliver integrated, long-term solutions rather than one-size-fits-all approaches.
