Department: Community Support Program (CSP)

Pay: $61,200-$79,600/year

Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM


Position Overview

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical nursing care in an outpatient behavioral health setting. The Registered Nurse works collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Psychiatric APRNs, nursing staff, and internal and external partners to support and promote mental health and overall well-being.


Key Responsibilities

· Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, including initial health screenings, follow-up nursing appointments, and clinical testing

· Maintain a caseload and provide coverage for other caseloads as needed
Provide medication management, including client education, administration of medications (including long-acting injectables), refill coordination, prior authorizations, and collaboration with pharmacies

· Consult and collaborate with Riverbend providers, interdisciplinary team members, family members, and community providers

· Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

· Adhere to HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) compliance requirements

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  

Qualifications

· Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire (required)

· Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience (required)

· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

· Experience working with individuals with psychiatric illnesses (preferred)

· ANCC Board Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (preferred)


Work Environment & Travel

Work is performed primarily in an outpatient office setting with collaboration across integrated care and community partners. Local travel to various Riverbend sites or community locations may be required.
