Job Summary:

  • Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the surgical transporter is responsible for the completion of assignments, as received from the printed schedule.
  • Responsible for the transport of patients and equipment within established departmental time frames and productivity standards and following departmental operational and safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates positive customer relations, infection control, and risk management practices.

Requirements
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to push and pull a minimum of 100 lbs.
