The Job:

Accounts Payable/Income Audit is a key part of the Little Palm Island Accounting team.

In this position you will support the organization by:

• Processing invoices: Ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid.
• Reconciling statements: Resolving discrepancies and ensuring all bills and payments are accounted for.
• Maintaining records: Keeping accurate and up-to-date accounts payable files.
• Supporting operations: Assisting with new vendor onboarding and electronic payment setup.
• Revenue Verification: Verifying all revenue transactions from various hotel departments, including front office, food and beverage, and other outlets, ensuring that all revenues are recorded accurately and completely on a daily basis.
• Daily Audits: Conducting daily audits of financial records to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and posted correctly. This includes reviewing outlet reports and reconciling daily sales.
• Coordination with Departments: Working closely with various departments to ensure that all income is properly accounted for and reported.
• Other tasks: Various duties as assigned by DOF and ADOF.

What it Takes to be a Successful Accounts Payable/income Audit:

To be successful in this role, you bring experience & proficiency in basic accounting practices and the drive to exceed expectations for this iconic location.

This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and always a friendly, helpful willingness to assist other team members. You should be efficient, perceptive and responsive.

The OFFER:

In return, you are rewarded with a compensation package that includes competitive pay, PTO, benefits and matching 401k, as well.  The starting rate for this position is $23, with final compensation determined based on experience and qualifications.
