Maintenance Technician-Electrical/Mechanical
Description

  

Performs mechanical maintenance work and repair work on all plant equipment and machinery.    

Works from blueprints of drawings and plans working procedure. Develops and implements new mechanical operations for improvements.

  

· Performs electrical/electronic, mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and repair work to equipment and machinery throughout the plant as required.

· Repairs, replaces, aligns, adjusts, and installs parts of plant equipment and machinery.

· Read effectively mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.

· Operates equipment and makes adjustments to ensure proper operating conditions prior to turning over to operating personnel.

· Performs climbing, rigging, lifting and hoisting.

· Performs minor electrical repairs, pipefitting, and maintenance and construction on plant buildings and facilities, such as replacing and wiring up motors, installing all types of lines, and repairing and replacing parts in pumps.

· Performs electromechanical and electrical repairs as well.

Requirements

  

Must have strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Able to interpret technical drawings

Able to troubleshoot machinery and equipment 

High School Diploma or GED required

Industrial Maintenance Technical Schooling preferred

Prior Maintenance Electrical or Mechanical experience 2+ years preferred.
