About the Role

LACO Technologies is seeking a skilled Electrical Panel Assembler to build electrical panels and wire system components for our industry-leading vacuum and leak-testing systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a crucial part in getting our advanced technology delivered on time to customers in aerospace, automotive, medical, and other high-tech industries.

If you're detail-oriented, confident with tools, comfortable reading schematics, and enjoy working with your hands, this role is an excellent fit.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble electrical panels and wire components for custom systems
  • Read and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams and schematics
  • Lay out specifications for metal enclosure fabrication/modification
  • Mount industrial electrical components (breakers, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, I/O devices, etc.)
  • Perform wiring, cable assembly, and routing
  • Make wiring decisions based on experience (gauge, color, routing)
  • Crimp, solder, and terminate connections
  • Collaborate closely with team members while also working independently
  • Use computers/software for documentation and workflow tasks
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

 Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in electrical assembly or related field
  • Strong understanding of panel building and electrical components
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
  • Hands-on skills using tools and electrical assembly equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and quality-focused mindset
  • Motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or within a team

Compensation


$19.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
