The Security Specialist serves as the primary subject-matter expert for the Managed Services Security Portfolio. This role partners closely with sales teams, account managers, and clients to represent the organization’s security capabilities, drive portfolio adoption, and provide strategic guidance across the full lifecycle of security offerings. The ideal candidate brings deep security expertise, strong communication skills, and the executive presence required to engage confidently with IT leaders.
Portfolio Leadership & Strategy: Own and evolve the strategic vision and lifecycle of the Security Portfolio.
• Sales & Client Engagement: Act as resident expert with clients and prospects; support sales cycles.
• Sales Enablement & Content Development: Create sales collateral, presentations, and training.
• Customer-Facing Expertise: Advise customer IT leadership on security posture and strategy.
• Events & Industry Awareness: Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
• 10+ years in information security or security managed services.
• Experience working with or advising healthcare organizations.
• Strong understanding of modern security technologies.
• Executive presence and ability to engage with IT leaders.
Experience supporting sales cycles and creating customer-facing collateral
• Background in MSSP or security consulting
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
• Experience with product lifecycle or portfolio management.
• Knowledge of EHR (Epic, Cerner, MediTech, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Athena), and cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
20% travel over a full year
