We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Junior Software Engineer to support software systems, data reporting, and plant technology initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants meaningful project experience while contributing to operational success.

What Will You Be Doing?
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will support the maintenance, development, and improvement of software systems used across plant operations.
You will:
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues in manufacturing and business applications
- Support development of new features, enhancements, and reporting tools
- Help maintain accurate data flow within applications and databases
- Work directly with plant operators to observe system usage and gather feedback
- Assist with system setup, installations, and basic configuration
- Support development of technical documentation and SOPs

Who We Are Looking For
Education
Associate or Bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in:
- Computer Science
- Software Engineering
- Information Systems
- Business Systems
- Or a related technical field
Technical Skills (Coursework or Project Experience Acceptable)
- Programming exposure: VB.NET, C#, Python, or similar
- Basic SQL knowledge and database fundamentals
- Familiarity with Visual Studio
- Basic understanding of APIs
- Exposure to WPF or similar frameworks is a plus
- SQL Server Management Studio experience preferred
- Interest in Industrial IoT and manufacturing systems
Additional Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
- Comfortable working in both office and plant-floor environments
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs (with assistance as needed)
- Ability to walk, stand, and squat in a plant environment
- Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
