SUMMARY:

  

The Property Management Summer Intern will support onsite and corporate operations while gaining hands-on experience in multi-family real estate management. The Intern will participate in leasing, resident services, marketing, financial reporting, and property operations while working closely with onsite teams, regional management, and corporate departments.


The Property Management Summer Internship provides structured learning, exposure to daily operations, special project participation, and opportunities to contribute to the performance and success of the community and broader GSC portfolio.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Support onsite teams with leasing activities, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, and assisting with application and move-in processes.
  • Participate in daily property operations including resident relations, customer service, and office administration.
  • Assist with marketing activities including social media, community outreach, competitor surveys, and market research.
  • Help coordinate and support resident events, engagement activities, and customer experience initiatives.
  • Observe maintenance operations, assist with service request follow-up, and learn fundamentals of property upkeep and vendor coordination.
  • Assist in reviewing occupancy trends, rent rolls, revenue reports, and other operational data as directed by property leadership.
  • Participate in special internship projects, which may include:                                                                                                                         - SWOT analysis                                                                                                                                                                                                         - process improvement                                                                                                                                                                                                   - amenity utilization analysis                                                                                                                                                                                   - resident satisfaction insights                                                                                                                                                                                - marketing campaign support
  • Attend meetings with onsite, regional, and corporate leadership to gain broader operational perspective.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, or presentations as required for internship learning objectives or special projects.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to GSC standards at all times.
  • Perform other related duties to benefit the mission and vision of the organization.


Requirements

Education: Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Real Estate, Hospitality, Marketing, Finance,   Communications, or a related field.

 

Experience: No prior property management experience required. Customer service or office experience preferred.
