What You Will Do:

The successful candidate will be willing and able to:

  • Independently coordinates logistics for mobile medicine sites and community events, serving as the primary liaison between Elica and community partners. This includes coordinating agreements, certificates of liability coverage and site schedules;
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment in locating, outreaching and presenting to potential program partners;
  • Oversees the checkout of medical supplies and equipment for mobile units to ensure operational readiness; 
  • Keeps track of clinical and IT equipment;
  • Supports the program leadership 340b inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with federal regulations, and proper distribution within the mobile medicine context.
  • Develops, coordinates, and updates emergency response plans and safety protocols for field operations. This includes, weather emergency readiness and partners involved, SDS documents, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Drill tracker, and Emergency numbers list, but is not limited;
  • Conducts safety assessments of outreach sites and coordinates with leadership to mitigate potential risks for staff and patients;
  • Supports Clinic Management in proper utilization of expired inventory;
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory, site agreements, and safety drills.
  • Manages recruitment and scheduling of program Volunteers;
  • Manages program calendar and outreach materials such as print and social media;
  • Performs other tasks as assigned to support the Health on Wheels operations.

Eligibility: Benefits are available to employees working 30+ hours per week, effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.


Compensation Disclosure: $70,304.00 annually

The compensation range listed reflects Elica’s good-faith estimate of the anticipated hiring range for this position in accordance with California pay transparency requirements. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, and qualification.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field;
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in healthcare operations or community outreach;
  • Experience with 340b and VFC program requirements and compliance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of community engagement strategies and event coordination.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and emergency response planning.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices and supply chain logistics.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The work environment is characteristic of the healthcare facility environment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to handle or lift. The employee is also required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must also possess hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud; the incumbent must be able to focus in an environment with many distractions.
