Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in a combined Interventional Radiology and Cardiology lab setting in Salisbury, North Carolina.

This role supports a high-volume IR-focused lab with a mix of diagnostic and interventional procedures requiring strong technical skill, efficiency, and adaptability.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for Cath Lab Techs with strong Interventional Radiology experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment with high-acuity cases.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• 5x8 Day shifts
• 07:30–16:00
• 40 hours per week
• Call required
• No block scheduling
• No floating required

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $2,706 per week
• W2: $36.50 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Scrub and circulate IR and Cath Lab procedures
• Maintain sterile field and procedural safety
• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures
• Support procedural flow in IR-focused lab (90 percent IR / 10 percent cardiology)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary procedural teams

CALL DETAILS
• Weekday call: 16:00–07:30; twice weekly for two weeks per month
• Weekend call: Friday 16:00 – Monday 07:30; one weekend per month
• No call the week following weekend call
• 30-minute callback required for STEMI
• Call team includes three staff members including one RN
• Additional coverage may be required based on department needs

• GE MAC Lab
• Philips iFR and IVUS
• Canon and GE Labs
• AngioJet, Penumbra, EKOS, Inari systems
• CSI Atherectomy System
• Bovi Plasma Blade
• Radiofrequency Ablation Unit
• Venous Closure Unit
• SonoSite and S2000 Ultrasound systems
• IABP and Impella devices

ORIENTATION
• 40 hours (up to 80 hours possible)
• Direct unit start prior to Dimensions training completion
• Scrubs provided

• ARRT (R) or RCIS required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• MUST have Interventional Radiology experience (90 percent of cases)
• Experience scrubbing and circulating IR and Cath Lab procedures required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Sterile field maintenance required
• Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures required
• Call required per schedule (weekday and weekend rotation)
• Must adhere to 5x8 Day scheduling (07:30–16:00); no block scheduling
• No floating required
• RTO after booking not allowed
• Up to 7 days auto-approved if not on a holiday
• No RTO during first week
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Compliance required within 48 hours of signing
• Flu vaccine required (medical or religious exemptions only); COVID not required
• Local radius rule applies under 50 miles
