Description
The Accounting Specialist with a concentration in billing, is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of sales orders and invoices, including terms, pricing, and all contractual details. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective time-management skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with employees, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities:
- Supports the process of initiating and revising quotes, purchase orders, and invoices for maintenance renewals.
- Provides regular updates to customers, vendors, and resellers on relevant information and proactively manage contract renewal timelines.
- Implements annual price increases per contractual terms.
- Processes reconciliations from vendors bills to validate the data billable to our customers.
- Maintains data integrity records in accounting system.
- Researches any discrepancies with quotes or billing information received.
- Troubleshoots as necessary to resolve discrepancies.
- Conducts collections activities and maintains communication with maintenance renewal customers to ensure timely payments.
- Assists with streamlining and automating processes while improving internal controls.
- Assists in other accounting department duties.
Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting and 2 or more years of experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Detail oriented, accurate, competent with calculations, dependable and efficient.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience with financial systems like SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle
