Description

The Functional Consultant supports communication development, business analysis, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides technical expertise in data management and program support to enhance organizational operations and alignment with strategic priorities.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop communication materials such as executive briefs, presentations, brochures, and strategic plans
  • Conduct business and alternatives analyses to support organizational strategy
  • Support process and performance improvement initiatives through detailed analysis and implementation assistance
  • Map and streamline data-management workflows
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert for data analytics
  • Perform SQL and VBA updates
  • Provide query support and data calls
  • Enhance database programs for maintainability and scalability
  • Generate dashboards and reports
  • Maintain PSC dashboards
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, develop agendas, and manage invitations
  • Prepare meeting materials, record minutes, and track action items
  • Assist with communications and collaborative program management activities


Requirements

Education and Clearance: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field 
  • Must have PMP/DHS mid-level PM certification (or equivalent)
  • 6 years relevant experience, or 5 years with a Master’s degree or higher
  • Part-time position 

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, Project, Access, Python, Office365, and SharePoint
