The Talent Manager, a new role at Omni, will serve as the operational backbone of our talent functions, translating strategic vision into day-to-day systems and processes that support our growing team. Reporting to our Talent Director, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented talent professional who excels at process management and has a passion for social change work with an equity focus. The Talent Manager will collaborate closely with the Talent Director, operations team, senior leaders, and staff to ensure we attract and retain diverse talent in alignment with Omni's mission and values.
Key Qualifications

- Demonstrated passion and commitment to building sustained EDI initiatives through diverse team building, equitable policies, and inclusive cultures
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment operations, including resume screening, interview coordination, and offer facilitation
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience developing and refining hiring processes, with an orientation toward continuous improvement

- 5+ years of experience in talent-related functions is preferred
- Experience in a consulting, professional services, or similar environment is preferred
What this role will look like
Recruitment Operations
- Manage and execute the full-cycle recruiting process, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating offers
- Screen resumes and manage hiring teams through structured interview processes
- Track recruitment metrics and continuously adapt and design processes to meet diversity goals in applicant pools
- Work collaboratively with the Talent Director and senior leaders to continuously refine hiring processes, interview questions, hiring rubrics, and other aspects of the hiring tools and process.
Staffing & Utilization Management
- Facilitate Omni's internal consulting staffing committee by preparing materials, documenting decisions, and coordinating logistics
- Prepare utilization reports for the staffing committee, proactively identifying under/over-utilized staff, and recommending staffing options
- Collaborate with project leaders to balance workloads, address staffing gaps, and maximize organizational capacity
Performance Management
- Coordinate the performance management cycle, including launching reviews, managing documentation, and tracking completion
- Support Talent Director and supervisors through the performance review process with clear timelines, expectations, and guidance
- Collaborate with the Talent Director to refine performance management and feedback processes and tools
Other talent functions
- Manage Omni’s Lattice people management platform
- Including data entry from our demographic surveys, staff profile information updates, etc
- Collaborate with the Talent Director, Business Operations Director, and Co-CEO on other talent functions, including
- Designing and issuing of employee engagement surveys
- Enhancing the employee experience, including EDI programs, employee resource groups, onboarding improvements, and culture-building efforts
- Managing smooth transitions for staff through all On-boarding and Off-boarding processes
- Other projects and initiatives as needed

Salary & Benefits
This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $70,000 plus benefits*, which include:

Location
This is a remote position anywhere within the continental US states.
Omni Institute’s headquarters are in Denver, CO, where we have an office for staff to work from. Employees who work from home/remotely must have a suitable home office environment. We try to limit work travel, but employees can expect some travel for client meetings, conferences, or company meetings (expected up to 5% of the time).

We provide research, evaluation, and capacity building services primarily through a project-based client consulting model with approximately 50 staff located in 17 states, with recently completed projects in over 20 US states.
