Our Case Management program in Vermont is designed to support individuals and families in planning, developing, selecting, accessing, coordinating, and overseeing medical, social, educational, and other services and supports. This includes providing planning, advocacy, monitoring, and guidance to help them make and evaluate their own decisions. We are hiring for a Program and Billing Specialist to be responsible for managing the general business operations of individual intakes, budget submissions, funding requests, and administrator for Central Reach data management system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate and manage intake process of new individuals
- Lead the team process in developing funding requests
- Create and/or edit budget calculators
- Ensure budgets and funding requests are completed and submitted
- Lead weekly funding request meeting
- Review and edit funding and exceptions requests. Determine if request meets a funding priority.
- Submit all funding to DDSD
- Manage and complete all ARIS requests
- Complete yearly enrollment budget submissions
- Develop and provide reports for overspending to notify Case Managers
- Administrator of documentation and data management systems
- Ensure all meta-data is entered for each individual
- Develop reports as needed for Director, Compliance Officer, and Regional Supervisors
- Participate and provide information for audits and surveys
- Work in conjunction with the Accounting and Billing departments to ensure billing submission
- Provide initial and continuous training to employees on the documentation systems and requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, individuals served, guardians and other stakeholders
- Must be skilled at using all forms of technology and software while possessing the ability to learn new software

- Possesses the knowledge and skill to make independent budget decisions and recommendations
- Provide input and recommendations to program processes and procedure
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must reside in the state of Vermont
- Knowledge of Vermont’s public service system for developmental disabilities services and brain injury services
- Bachelor’s degree in any field and 1 year of human services related experience such as supporting individuals with disabilities, special education, sociology, vocational rehabilitation and/or employment, protection and advocacy, psychology, substance use, aging, healthcare, social work, or other related field OR
- Associate degree in human services or a closely related field and 2years of human services related experience, such as supporting individuals with disabilities, special education, sociology, vocational rehabilitation and/or employment, protection and advocacy, psychology, substance use, aging, healthcare, social work or another related field OR
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of human services related experience, such as work providing assistance to people and groups with issues, such as supporting individuals with disabilities, special education, sociology, vocational rehabilitation and/or employment, protection and advocacy, psychology, substance use, aging, healthcare, social work or another related field.
