What you will do:

  

As Strategic Accounts Manager, you’ll serve as the commercial lead for assigned strategic accounts, driving profitable growth through new business development, account expansion, and disciplined commercial execution.


Key Focus Areas


Account Retention & Growth 

· Lead the sales process from prospecting to contract execution while collaborating across internal teams to deliver value-driven solutions.

· Develop and execute strategic account plans to protect business, preserve margins, and drive organic growth.

· Proactively drive new business within assigned customer accounts to identify maximum potential and achieve or exceed sales goals.

· Build strong multi-level customer relationships and identify key decision-makers.

· Lead account reviews, customer visits, and satisfaction check-ins.


Quoting, Estimating, & Pricing Strategy

· Own commercial activities across assigned accounts, including RFQs, pricing adjustments, and contract negotiations.

· Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and cost estimates for launching programs and sustaining production changes.

· Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Finance, and Operations to validate feasibility, lead times, and margins.


Customer Support & Issue Resolution

· Act as the internal advocate for customer experience across all departments.

· Coordinate issue resolution (quality, delivery, billing, and commercial concerns) with internal teams.

· Attend project launch meetings and ensure alignment on quoted scope and re-quote needs.

Requirements

What You Bring

· 5+ years of direct sales & account management experience in manufacturing.

· Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering/Technical, Marketing, or Business preferred).

· Experience selling medical manufacturing products and/or components, assemblies, resin or tooling (experience selling plastic injection molding a plus). 

· Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts, conduct high-impact presentations, and negotiate complex deals.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated strong drive to take initiative and deliver results.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Willingness to travel 20-30% for customer meetings and site visits.
