As the Marketing Manager for our Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice, you will serve as the dedicated marketing partner to JM Search’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice. You will own the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy that supports brand visibility, thought leadership, and client acquisition across the healthcare and life sciences sector.
This role is embedded within the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice while sitting on the corporate marketing team—providing the opportunity to work closely with Practice leadership and Partners while leveraging corporate marketing resources, tools, and best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong B2B marketing experience within a professional services environment, thrives in a collaborative, matrixed organization, and is comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary marketing strategist and advisor to the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice, partnering closely with Practice leadership to align marketing initiatives with business priorities.
- Own the development and execution of integrated, multichannel marketing campaigns targeting key healthcare and life sciences audiences, informed by buyer personas and the customer journey.
- Lead the creation of practice-specific content and thought leadership, including articles, blog posts, white papers, podcasts, videos, and other formats that elevate JM Search’s point of view in the market.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to position Partners as thought leaders, including speaking engagements, conferences, webinars, podcasts, awards, and industry events.
- Plan and execute JM Search–hosted and sponsored healthcare events, managing end-to-end logistics, stakeholder communications, and post-event follow-up with a high level of attention to detail.
- Partner with the corporate marketing team on voice-of-the-customer (VOC) initiatives, helping to develop scalable processes for gathering case studies, testimonials, and feedback from clients and candidates.
- Ensure practice-specific marketing collateral is current, compelling, and aligned with JM Search brand standards across all touchpoints.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, using data and insights to continuously refine strategies and improve outcomes.
- Design and implement targeted lead generation and account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives in support of key accounts and strategic growth priorities.
- Act as a brand ambassador for JM Search, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines and messaging throughout the Healthcare & Life Sciences customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within a professional services or similarly matrixed organization supporting multiple internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and subject-matter experts.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, including email, content distribution, social media, SEO, and paid media.
- Experience with or strong interest in multimedia content, including podcasts and video.
- Proficiency with marketing automation and CRM tools; HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
- Experience or interest in supporting in-person, high-touch client events.
- Analytical, results-driven mindset with experience leveraging a CRM to tie marketing activities and campaigns back to business outcomes.
- Healthcare and/or life sciences industry experience strongly preferred; familiarity with healthcare services, HCIT, pharma, or PE-backed healthcare environments is a plus.
