Health Services Program Director – Prairie Band Health Services


Manage all aspects of an assigned Program, Project, or Contract that is the responsibility of Prairie Band Health Services (PBHS). The Program Director (DM) is responsible for overall management and administration of Program, Project, or Contract in accordance with the contract documents, including performance, compliance, cost & quality control, administration of contracted employees and personnel, and other contract issues which may arise. The DM will formulate, plan, organize and execute contract related activities that meet the goals and objectives of the Program.


Key Responsibilities

· Plans, analyzes, evaluates, and manages the project.

· Serves as the Contractor’s authorized point of contact to ensure contract compliance and satisfactory performance.

· Supervises Project Managers, HS Recruiter and HS Coordinator. Assists in coordinating work schedules, workflows, plus resolves issues, and ensures high-quality, compliant performance of all tasks by personnel working on the contract, to include multiple locations.

· Oversees the quality and timely submission of deliverables, reports, etc.

· Provides analysis of project requirements and accurate cost estimates for on-going projects and new business initiatives in support of Business Development.

· Provides program and related performance process improvements.

· Provides and gathers required information to assist with coordination support efforts.

· Provides timely and effective conflict and issue resolution.

· Effectively resolves and responds to issues directly with the Government.

· Participates in support of Business Development by drafting technical responses and supports review team initiatives for proposal submissions.

· Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

 

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years’ experience or an Associates’ degree in a related field with 7+ years’ experience in program/project management, including demonstrated experience in utilizing corporate staffing processes to quickly satisfy contract staffing requirements and satisfying government requirements in conducting Program Management Reviews (PMRs), status meetings and reporting financial data.

· Experience in Indian Health Services strongly preferred.

· PM experience involving staffing agency/health care preferred.

· Ability to effectively lead teams geographically dispersed.

· Exceptional oral and written communication skills to interact with peers clearly and meaningfully, outside agencies, vendors, providers, and stakeholders.

· Excellent problem-solving ability with experience coaching, training, and disciplining employees.

· Knowledge and skills in using quality and risk management programs and processes to identify issues to improve practice and ensure compliance.

· Knowledge and understanding of how to work with, support and leverage corporate staff and functions.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

· Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.


Physical Demands

· Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.

· Ability to read computer screens, email and talk on the phone. 

· Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area. 

· Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
