The Slots Key Attendant complies with all company and departmental policies. Provides friendly, courteous and efficient service to customers in assigned area(s); through teamwork with floor cashiers, ensure prompt response to all customers’ needs. Must be 21 years of age or older. Position works between Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino and Red Garter Hotel & Casino.
In this role you will:
• Safeguard company assets at all times.
• Circulate assigned slot machine area.
• Ensure great customer service and prompt response to customer needs at all times in tandem with other team members.
• Prepare or approve all slot payout vouchers for fills and jackpots.
• Assist in resolving all customer disputes.
• Observe strict confidentiality in regards to company matters.
• Make minor repairs and adjustments to slot machines as needed.
• Clean interior/exterior of slot machines.
• Answer customer complaints and questions regarding slot machines within his/her authority and ability to do so.
• Create a friendly atmosphere for guests and coworkers.
• Perform related and/or other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience and knowledge that includes:
• High school education, GED or equivalent experience.• Experience in gaming industry preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada Gaming Card.• Must be punctual and have regular and reliable attendance
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
• Perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
• Outgoing personality, positive attitude, strong communication skills, and pleasant/clean appearance.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money.
• Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 40lbs.
