The Strategic Account Manager will design and execute a comprehensive account management strategy focused on expanding existing relationships and positioning the company as each client’s primary and preferred partner. This role will also own a portfolio of key accounts, with direct responsibility for driving growth and achieving established revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans to promote account growth and identify new business opportunities within existing and new divisions of assigned client’s company.
- Leverage and engage with the relevant people to further develop business opportunities. Close sales to generate new revenue according to agreed targets.
- Achieve and exceed sales quotas for both team and self, ensuring accurate and regular reporting of metrics and performance deliverables. Ensure proactive communications to Manager and the Executive team.
- Serve as the senior, central point of contact for liaison between selected external clients and internal operations/production team to develop account to generate additional revenue.
- Lead, develop, and coach assigned team to identify and successfully maintain existing revenue and generate new revenue on existing accounts while ensuring metrics are met and continuously exceeded.
- Provide technical, business and operational support to the sales team to support strategy planning, presentations, sales calls and preparation of RFP’s to ensure future revenue pipeline for account management.
- Manage and mitigate business risk to existing business streams for assigned clients; develop and deploy mitigation strategies and solutions with operational support.
- Identify leads and develop business opportunities.
- Other duties may be reasonably requested.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years’ experience in Translations and Localization Industry with experience of supporting clients across multiple sectors.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets both individually and through a team.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver value/benefit analysis to technical and business stakeholders.
- Experienced in solution sales to develop and maximize opportunities.
- Strategic, proactive planner and forward thinker who is self-motivated.
- Familiarity with translation and localization solutions and services including web technologies, databases, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain rapport with clients.
