RECEPTIONIST

Purpose of Position:

Responsible for being the first point of contact for S.T.A.R. – Stand Together And Recover Centers, Inc. at a center in person and over the phone. In line with our company culture we are seeking a candidate who is friendly, reliable, punctual, dependable, and professional. 

Essential Functions:

· Greet all individuals entering the building.

· Demonstrates a professional appearance of self, agency, and service in a positive, cooperative and enthusiastic manner.

· Shows respect, flexibility, and positive attitude for others when dealing with members, employees, and visitors.

· Answers S.T.A.R. – Stand Together And Recover Centers, Inc. center business lines, route call to appropriate person, take messages, and deliver to proper person. 

· Provide clerical support services to staff as needed.

· Maintain guest sign in log.

· Maintains daily member logs (signing in and out) are accurate.

· Ensures members complete daily activity logs, organize them, and turn them in to quality assurance billing specialist.

· Attends staff meetings as required.

· Provides outreach calls to new or non-attending members

· Assist members find appropriate chore

· Maintain STAR dollar distribution

· Coordinates internal external member transportation request in required time frame to include interpretation services

· Able to communicate the intake and document updates for new and possible members for STAR

· Attends staff meetings and required training classes.

· Utilize outlook for emails, calendar, and Microsoft teams communication as directed

· Other duties as required

Requirements

  

Education

GED or high school diploma is required. 

Experience:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • · Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • · Must possess good communication skills.
  • · Must demonstrate time management, organizational, and judgment skills.
  • · Must be professional and friendly.
  • · Must work independently and be a recovery focused team player.
  •   Self-identify as a Peer by the InterNational Association of Peer Supporters (iNAPS) or Mental Health America definition and/or have (or have had a history) of a Mental Health/Behavioral Health or Substance Use/Abuse Diagnosis  
  •  At least 21 years of age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Criminal Background Check verification
  • Pre Hire and Random Drug/ Alcohol screening.
