Are you pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Ag Business, or a related field? Looking to gain real-world experience in feed manufacturing, customer service, and agricultural sales?


Our Feed Mill Internship is a paid, hands-on learning opportunity designed to give college students practical exposure to feed mill operations while introducing the sales and customer-facing side of an agricultural cooperative. This internship is structured to provide meaningful experience, mentorship, and career readiness within a professional ag environment.

Requirements

 

Feed Mill Operations

  • Assist with feed production, mixing, and packaging under supervision
     
  • Sack feed and help load/unload grain and feed trucks
     
  • Support inventory counts, recordkeeping, and documentation
     
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and facility
     
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
     

Customer & Sales Exposure

  • Learn to respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
     
  • Shadow sales staff during farm calls, customer visits, and meetings
     
  • Assist with preparing sales materials and customer follow-ups
     
  • Learn how feed products are recommended based on customer needs
     
  • Support walk-in customers and answer incoming calls as needed
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in Agriculture, Animal Science, Ag Business, or related program
     
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document information accurately
     
  • Willingness to work a variable schedule, including overtime as needed
     
  • Strong communication skills and professional attitude
     
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
