About the Role 

DeliverIt Group is urgently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to accurately interpret, prepare, and dispense medications, counsel patients on drug interactions and side effects, and manage pharmacy inventory. This role is ideal for a clinical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a direct impact on patient well-being and operational excellence. 

Requirements

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review, interpret, and fill prescriptions for accuracy, safety, appropriate dosage, and potential drug interactions.
  • Advise patients on medication usage, storage, side effects, and general health inquiries, including MTM.
  • Administer vaccinations (e.g., flu shots) and provide, or assist with, medication therapy management.
  • Direct pharmacy technicians and interns in mixing, packaging, and labeling medications.
  • Maintain inventory, manage controlled substances, and ensure strict adherence to state/federal laws, including HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient drug therapy and safety.

Qualifications 

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (RPh).   
  • Active Texas Pharmacy Board License.   
  • Experience in community marketing and healthcare outreach (required).   
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication safety, and compounding.   
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.   
  • Proficiency with pharmacy systems (PioneerRx, MatchRx) and Microsoft Office.   
  • High attention to detail, strong integrity, and a patient-centered mindset.   
  • Spanish proficiency encouraged.
