Description
Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. has been a trusted provider of skilled trade construction services for over 20 years, supporting commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and 24/7 emergency response. We’re hiring a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead the electrical estimating team in completing retail project estimates. You’ll develop accurate, competitive bids, evaluate plans and specs, and collaborate with project and leadership teams to support successful project execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for a variety of projects, including ground-ups, tenant improvements and takeovers
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work and identify potential challenges
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop accurate and competitive bids
- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure cost efficiency
- Maintain and update estimating databases and cost databases to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and scope of work with clients and subcontractors
- Monitor project budgets and provide cost control recommendations throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years of electrical estimating experience, with prior lead or senior estimating experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail electrical systems, applicable codes and standards, and electrical materials and installation methods
- Ability to interpret refrigeration, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and/or structural plans and specifications related to electrical installation
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, SureCount, Autodesk, Intellibid, and/or EBM

Salary Description
$85K to $115K per year
