Role Overview
DOXA is seeking an experienced Integration Project Manager to lead the successful onboarding, integration, and launch of newly acquired companies, programs, and teams. This role sits within DOXA’s Integration / Project Management Office, which exists to scale and accelerate enterprise strategy through disciplined execution.
The primary focus of this role is to fully integrate acquisitions and newly formed businesses onto DOXA’s platform within a targeted timeframe, spanning finance, IT, legal, operations, marketing, compliance, and people processes. This individual will operate as a hands-on leader—driving outcomes, holding teams accountable, and ensuring aligned clarity across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
This is not a “status-only” project management role. The ideal candidate is a collaborator, driver, and mitigator who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and brings structure without slowing momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Acquisition Integration & Startup Execution
- Lead multiple, concurrent acquisition and startup initiatives, ensuring full operational integration within the targeted timeframes.
- Own the full project lifecycle—from initiation through closeout—ensuring execution excellence, risk and issue mitigation, effective change management, and clear synergy realization.
- Develop detailed integration roadmaps and execution plans, ensuring clear milestones, critical path, dependency mapping accountability, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner closely with M&A, Operations, IT, Legal, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, People & Culture, and Compliance teams to identify gaps, risks, and required system and process changes.
- Standardize and continuously improve integration playbooks, templates, and best practices to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
New Program & Team Onboarding
- Lead newly established programs or divisions from talent signing through full operational readiness.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of the target operating model, including:
- Finance & accounting
- Carrier management
- Underwriting
- IT systems & data
- Operation
- Compliance & regulatory readiness
- People & culture alignment
Risk Management, Communication & Reporting
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting scope, timeline, budget, or regulatory readiness.
- Escalate risks and issues proactively with clear options and recommendations.
- Lead regular cross-functional working session and executive updates.
- Develop dashboards and reports that provide leadership with real-time insight into project health, risks, and progress.
- Foster transparency, accountability, and alignment across all stakeholders.
PMO Maturity & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the evolution of DOXA’s I/PMO by refining frameworks, tools, governance, and delivery standards.
- Improve execution speed while maintaining appropriate controls in a regulated environment.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of integration experience, insurance expertise, and strong execution leadership, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field (required).
- 5+ years of experience leading Integration efforts in an M&A environment.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in a growth or fast-paced organization.
- 5+ years of insurance industry experience with a solid understanding of core insurance operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated success driving cross-functional accountability without direct authority.
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Strong proficiency with cloud-based project management tools (Monday.com preferred).
- Experience building executive-level dashboards and translating data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A growth mindset and desire to help build and scale businesses.
