Edupoint is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Events Manager to lead the vision, planning, and delivery of all client-facing events — including our largest and most critical event, the annual National Users Conference. 

This role goes beyond logistics. The Events Manager owns the full lifecycle of our event portfolio — aligning event strategy with sales objectives, brand positioning, customer engagement, and revenue impact. This individual will serve as the architect behind experiences that strengthen client relationships, generate pipeline, and elevate the Edupoint brand.

As our Events Manager, this role will oversee event planning and logistics for the National Users Conference, company-sponsored events and all sales-related events and tradeshows.

Requirements

  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Event Strategy & Business Impact

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with sales and marketing goals
  • Define measurable KPIs (pipeline, retention, engagement, brand impact)
  • Deliver post-event reporting and ROI analysis

National Users Conference (Flagship Event)

  • Own end-to-end strategy and execution of Edupoint’s National Users Conference
  • Lead site selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management
  • Develop content and experience strategy in collaboration with product, sales, and executive teams
  • Oversee registration strategy, attendee journey, communications cadence, and on-site execution
  • Lead cross-functional planning teams to ensure exceptional client experience

Tradeshow & Field Events

  • Oversee all tradeshows and regional client events
  • Align booth presence and messaging with sales objectives
  • Ensure lead capture, CRM integration, and follow-up processes are optimized

Event Marketing & Audience Growth

  • Partner with Marketing on promotional strategy and campaign execution
  • Drive attendance through targeted outreach and segmentation
  • Ensure alignment between event messaging and overall brand positioning

Event Technology & Systems

  • Serve as primary owner and administrator of CVent
  • Manage registration workflows, communications, reporting, and analytics
  • Oversee integration with Salesforce and related tools

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Develop and manage annual event budgets
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships
  • Track and report on budget performance

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop assigned team members
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations
  • Provide KPI reporting and updates to executive leadership
  • Partner with HR on hiring and performance management   

Job Requirements-Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 

Experience 

  • 5+ years in event management or event marketing
  • Proven leadership of large-scale conferences (500+ attendees preferred)
  • Experience aligning events to revenue and business outcomes
  • Management experience required

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency with CVent (required)
  • Experience integrating event platforms with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Travel & Work Environment

  • Travel required, including multi-day conferences and tradeshows
