Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support to our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting users, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, flexible, and comfortable supporting both onsite and remote users.


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $18/hr

Schedule: Shifts can range from 6am-3pm to 11am-8pm, and Saturdays from 8am-5pm   

Work Location: Onsite in our San Antonio office


Key Responsibilities Include:

·  Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

·  Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

·  Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications

·  Manage user accounts (password resets, permissions, onboarding/offboarding)

·  Assist with email, VPN, and remote access support

·  Document technical issues and resolutions

·  Support system updates, backups, and security protocols

·  Coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary

·  Maintain IT inventory and equipment tracking


Soft Skills:

·  Strong attention to detail

·  Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

·  Clear and patient communication style

·  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·  Strong organizational skills


Required Qualifications:

·  GED or high school diploma

·  Strong background in technology

·  Knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments

·  Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers)

·  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·  Excellent communication and customer service skills


Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience with Microsoft 365

·  Familiarity with ticketing systems

·  Basic cybersecurity awareness

·  CompTIA A+ or similar certification
