Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a Critical Care Float Pool assignment in Augusta, Georgia.

This role is designed for highly adaptable nurses comfortable working across multiple high-acuity units, with a primary focus on ICU-level care.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a premium float opportunity ideal for strong ICU nurses who want diverse clinical exposure while maintaining ICU-level responsibility and skill utilization.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12 (19:00–07:00)
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Floating required across multiple units
• No call required
• Option for 36 or 48 hours guaranteed

FLOAT COVERAGE
• ICU (Primary)
• Neuro ICU
• CVICU
• PCU
• Med-Surg / Telemetry

PATIENT RATIOS
• ICU: 1:2–3
• PCU: 1:4–5
• Med-Surg / Tele: 1:5–6

CLINICAL FOCUS
• Critical care and ventilator management
• Titratable drips and vasoactive medications
• Neuro critical care support
• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Cross-unit adaptability and rapid patient assessment

UNIT HIGHLIGHTS
• True critical care float pool
• High-acuity, skill-driven environment
• Exposure across multiple specialty units
• Ideal for experienced ICU nurses seeking variety and growth

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact REQUIRED at submission
• Minimum 1 year recent ICU experience REQUIRED
• BLS REQUIRED
• ACLS REQUIRED
• NIHSS REQUIRED
• Must be comfortable with ventilators and titratable drips REQUIRED
• Neuro critical care experience REQUIRED
• Floating across multiple units REQUIRED
• RTO (Max 7 days) must be submitted with profile

• First-time travelers accepted
