Engagement Overview
Our agency (DH) is seeking an independent contractor to provide production coordination and administrative support services for the For Our Lives campaign, funded by the Washington State Health Care Authority.
This engagement is project-based and focused on supporting specific campaign logistics, documentation, and coordination needs. The contractor will determine the methods, schedule, and tools used to complete the agreed-upon deliverables and will operate as an independent business providing professional services under a written agreement.
This project contributes to an environment that honors trusted relationships and fosters culturally responsive collaboration with the 29 federally recognized Tribes and Native-serving organizations across Washington State. This project also focuses on systems and processes, continually seeking ways to streamline them and increase efficiencies.
Scope of Services and Deliverables
The contractor will provide coordination and administrative support services that may include:
- Coordinating scheduling logistics related to Tribal engagement activities
- Preparing materials and documentation for meetings with Tribes, Urban Indian Health Programs, Native-serving organizations, Tribal schools, and Native Education program leads
- Organizing campaign-related files, records, and order forms
- Tracking outreach and engagement activities and preparing summary reports
- Coordinating vendor orders, packaging, and shipment of campaign materials
- Identifying opportunities to streamline coordination and documentation processes related to this campaign
- Attending Tribal events or gatherings, if mutually agreed upon as part of the project scope
A company point of contact will be available to provide context, priorities, and clarification regarding deliverables.
Engagement Terms
- This is a non-exclusive independent contractor engagement
- The contractor is responsible for determining their work schedule and methods
- The contractor will use their own equipment and tools to complete the work
- Compensation will be based on agreed-upon rates and deliverables as outlined in the contract
- The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and benefits
Preferred Experience and Background
- The contractor must be able to respond to coordination requests and communications within agreed-upon timeframes necessary to support campaign activities
- Experience providing coordination, administrative, or production support services for campaigns, agencies, or community-based initiatives
- Working knowledge of Tribal sovereignty and effective government-to-government relationships
- Commitment to culturally responsive collaboration with Tribal and Native-serving organizations
- Relevant education, training, or lived experience that supports this work
- Able to commit to an established weekly availability
