Description

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)


Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary health care services within our community health center. Under the guidance of the Practice Manager, you will collaborate with providers and staff to ensure a welcoming, efficient, and patient-centered environment that promotes health and well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits by turning on instruments, computer systems, lights, and ensuring rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked each morning.

- Close down and restock examination rooms at the end of each day to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

- Screen patients according to Canyonlands’ current standards, including taking vital signs, noting chief complaints, allergies, and other relevant information.

- Document patient findings accurately and promptly in the medical record.

- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures as needed.

- Support patient education and provide compassionate care to promote positive health outcomes.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety protocols.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Current certification as a CNA or LNA in the state of practice.

- Prior experience in a primary care or outpatient setting preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to accurately record and document patient information.

- Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control, and safety procedures.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.

Salary Description
$33,800-$47,320 Annually
