Pay Range: $22.15/hour-$23.50/hour


POSITION SUMMARY:

Working under the Director of Development, the Development Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to advance the organization’s fundraising, stewardship, and donor engagement efforts. This role manages gift processing, acknowledgements, and donor records; supports event coordination; assists with donor communications and stewardship activities; and contributes to grant writing and reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Accurately process all incoming gifts, pledges, and payments; maintain donor database integrity. 
  • Generate and send donor acknowledgements, thank-you letters, invoices, and tax receipts. 
  • Support year-end fundraising administration, including preparing and distributing annual tax letters. 
  • Serve as day-of-event lead, coordinating logistics, RSVPs, guest lists, and liaising with venue staff. 
  • Support pre-event activities including invitation mailings, sponsorship tracking, and event communications. 
  • Assist with executing the donor stewardship plan, including touchpoints, impact updates, and donor communications. 
  • Draft and support donor communications such as stewardship messages, campaign updates, and impact emails. 
  • Support grant writing and reporting by gathering data, drafting content, and tracking deadlines. 
  • Collect testimonials, interviews, and impact stories from beneficiaries, staff, and partners for use in campaigns. 
  • Assists with additional administrative tasks related to fundraising efforts as needed.



Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience. Proficient computer skills, including basic excel functionality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
