Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical, results-oriented E-Commerce Sales Manager to lead revenue growth and profitability across all non-Amazon digital channels. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes ownership of performance, and turns insights into action.

The ideal candidate combines commercial acumen, digital marketing expertise, and execution to drive top-line growth while optimizing margin, inventory, and customer experience.


Position Requirements

Revenue & Performance Ownership

  • Own revenue, margin, and contribution performance across all non-Amazon E-Commerce channels (DTC and marketplace)
  • Monitor and manage daily/weekly KPIs including AOV, ASP, traffic, conversion, CAC, ROAS, and contribution margin
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action quickly
  • Drive integrated sales forecasting by translating consumer engagement metrics into actionable revenue plans
  • Evaluate and assess opportunities for DTC expansion, including evaluation of 3PL logistics, build the business case, and implement management of DTC business.

Digital Growth & Commercial Strategy

  • Lead performance marketing strategy across paid media, PDP optimization, promotions, and campaign execution
  • Lead, optimize and grow our digital retail business in partnership with sales leads expanding growth across omnichannel platforms.
  • Launch, test, optimize, scale, or discontinue initiatives based on data and ROI
  • Align messaging, pricing, and promotional strategies with overall sales, marketing and margin objectives
  • Apply a “test and learn” mindset, pivoting quickly in response to market shifts and performance data

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Manage agencies and remote execution teams with clear KPIs and accountability
  • Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Commercial teams to align forecasts and performance goals
  • Drive data-led decision-making across product launches, promotions, and assortment strategies
  • Remove operational bottlenecks and accelerate execution across initiatives

Reporting & Communication 

  • Develop clear, actionable performance dashboards and executive-ready reporting
  • Seek and evaluate new digital commerce opportunities to drive growth within budget and aligned to achieve company goals.
  • Translate complex data into strategic recommendations and next steps
  • Proactively identify risks and present solutions to leadership
  • Build scalable reporting, benchmarking and tools to measure execution across digital shelf fundamentals (search, content, availability, price, and share).


Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of multi-channel E-Commerce experience managing digital retailers (not Amazon-focused) including Instacart, Doordash, Kroger, Albertsons, Target etc. in CPG.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and margin improvement. 
  • Experience managing digital marketing channels (PPC, paid media, conversion optimization).
  • Experience managing agencies and/or offshore execution teams
  • Ability to pivot quickly in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and accountability

Travel Requirements:

  • Availability to travel up to 20%.

Compensation is based on the level of experience, other relevant experience, and requirements of the position. The range provided serves only as a guideline and does not automatically qualify all candidates (internal or external) for the high end of the range.  

Base Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000 plus annual bonus
