As an Associate Account Executive, you will be a key driver of Engrain’s growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this full-cycle SaaS sales role, driving revenue across small and mid-sized multifamily customers and spearheading the adoption of new product lines. We are intentionally building an AI-enabled sales organization where speed, precision, and leverage are paramount. What You’ll Do

  • Drive Growth: Own and achieve a software sales quota by selling SaaS solutions to small and midsize multifamily customers.
  • Full Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales journey—from initial discovery and analyzing prospect needs to closing deals efficiently through our customer portal.
  • Portfolio Penetration: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new logo leads, while strategically leveraging inbound referrals to cross-sell and upsell existing clients.
  • Leverage Modern AI: Use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google Notebook to research buying committees, generate personalized outreach, and sharpen your discovery and objection handling.
  • Data-Driven Prospecting: Utilize Clay (and other tools) for business intelligence and data enrichment to identify high-intent prospects and prioritize your daily outreach.
  • Sales Engagement: Operate daily within HubSpot Sales Hub to manage sequences and automate engagement, ensuring no lead falls through the cracks.
  • Meet and exceed daily/weekly activity metrics for outbound touches and qualified discovery meetings set for the Account Executive team.
  • Territory Strategy: Execute a sophisticated territory penetration strategy using AI-enriched lead data and auto-generated reports to maximize market share.
  • Executive Presence: Conduct high-impact sales presentations for key influencers and C-level executives, positioning Engrain as a trusted partner by connecting product value to specific business outcomes.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an industry and product expert, staying ahead of multifamily trends, competitive dynamics, and proptech insights.
  • CRM Integrity: Maintain clean, accurate, and real-time data in Salesforce, our internal system of record and source of truth.
  • Work Smarter: Proactively use AI and automation to reduce manual CRM administration while maintaining the highest level of data quality.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Engrain at national sales events and trade shows; travel of 10-15% may be required.
  • AI & Tooling: Use AI tools to increase speed, quality, and effectiveness in daily sales work

What you offer us…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years proven experience in full life-cycle sales, within the multifamily industry preferred
  • Proven track record in full-cycle SaaS sales, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Expertise in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities to provide a high-caliber customer experience.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce and Hubspot) to manage sales activities.
  • Understanding of the SaaS business model and the multifamily real estate industry.
  • Up to date on multifamily industry trends, competitive dynamics, and product updates
  • Ability to adapt quickly as tools, processes, and best practices evolve
  • Experience with or eagerness to learn:
    • ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar generative AI tools
    • Notebook.ai as a training resource for onboarding and ongoing training 
    • Data enrichment and intelligence tools (e.g., Clay)

What we offer you...

  • Salary Disclosure for Colorado: The expected annual base salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000, with a total on-target earnings (OTE) of $100,000. Final compensation is dependent on a variety of factors like experience, certifications and skill set.
