PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE:
Job Description: The Account Development Representative (ADR) will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts and building strong relationships with our clients. You will work closely with Business Development Executives to develop and execute effective sales strategies, achieve sales targets, and contribute to the growth of our organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement and skill development in the sales and account management field.
The ADR is required but not limited to the main responsibilities listed below:
· Assist Business Development Executives in identifying and prospecting potential clients through market research, cold calling, and networking.
· Support the development of sales strategies and tactics to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
· Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, following company guidelines and pricing policies.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities in the CRM system.
· Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about the latest developments.
· Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills through training programs, workshops, and self-study.
Reporting Structure: The ADR will report to a centralized supervisor, Account Development Manager. They will have dotted line responsibility to the Business Development Executives
Conduct and Appearance: The ADR is expected to conduct himself/herself, while representing Ford Office Technologies with professionalism and integrity, while maintaining a positive business-like behavior with customers, potential customers, and co-workers. Services will always be presented in a fair and honest manner, never making false claims or overstating service capabilities. Proper business casual attire is required during normal business hours unless otherwise specified for extraordinary circumstances.
Training: It is expected of the ADR to achieve and maintain a high degree of selling skills through seminars, training classes, professional publications, sales meetings, and any other available source. The requirement of having expert knowledge of all the products and services offered by Ford Office Technologies, in depth knowledge of the sales computer database, and to maintain high quality presentation skills is a prerequisite to continued employment at Ford Office Technologies.
Reporting: The ADR is required to maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports. Goals for prospecting new and existing customers will be set by your supervisor.
Requirements: The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, start/end times to be determined and discussed with your supervisor; 30-minute to 1-hour unpaid lunch to be provided as agreed upon with your supervisor; and reports to one of our physical office locations. You will be required to pass a series of background checks, child abuse clearance, drug test, among other agreements, and abide by their terms.
