OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Program Director who will oversee the successful execution of key programs and initiatives across the manufacturing organization. The Program Director is responsible for aligning cross-functional teams, managing program timelines and budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet customer and business expectations. The Program Director acts as a central point of contact for high-impact programs, driving operational excellence, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement across all phases of execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex manufacturing programs, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
- Manage program scope, budget, schedule, and resources across multiple departments and stakeholders
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, customers, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder engagement
- Coordinate activities across engineering, production, quality, procurement, and supply chain to ensure program milestones are met
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Track and report program performance using key metrics and dashboards; escalate issues as needed
- Facilitate regular program reviews, updates, and communications with executive leadership
- Implement best practices in program management and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and quality
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards throughout the program lifecycle
- Mentor and coach cross-functional teams to strengthen project management capabilities and collaboration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 5+ years in program or project leadership roles preferred
- Proven success managing cross-functional programs with significant scope, complexity, and business impact
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and engineering processes
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma)
- PMP or related certification preferred
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
