The Construction Project Engineer Intern will support the Director of Pre-Construction and the Construction Managers with project management, pre-construction coordination, and administrative responsibilities, gaining exposure to project planning and operational processes. As the internship progresses, the individual will transition into the field to work directly alongside a Superintendent, developing hands-on experience in day-to-day construction operations. This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to both project administration and field execution. Successful candidates may be considered for full-time employment upon completion of the internship. This opportunity is best suited for a junior or senior-level student with a strong interest in pursuing a career in construction.


   Assist the Director of Pre-Construction and Construction Managers with daily project activities, including maintaining project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.


Assist with administrative tasks including document management, meeting coordination, and project tracking.


Assist with reviewing, updating, and organizing CAD drawings and construction plans as needed, including resolving and clarifying design issues.


Help prepare and organize project documentation such as schedules, submittals, and reports.


Collaborate with Superintendents in the field to observe and support daily construction operations. Identifying and resolving field issues and change orders.


Participate in site walks and assist with tracking project progress, safety compliance, and quality standards.


Communicate with internal teams and subcontractors to support efficient project execution and workflow coordination


Complete and present a final project presentation at the conclusion of the internship, highlighting experience gained, project outcomes, and key organizational insights 



Requirements

 Valid Driver’s License 


2026 or 2027 Graduate Preferred


 Coursework in Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Construction Technology preferred


CAD & BlueBeam experience preferred


Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
