Job Overview
The Janitorial/Office Cleaning Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work environment. This role supports daily office operations by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks in offices, common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas to ensure a healthy and welcoming workplace for employees and visitors.

Duties
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of offices, conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, countertops, tables, and appliances.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and breakrooms, including paper products, soap, and cleaning materials.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors as needed.
- Clean breakroom areas, including sinks, microwaves, refrigerators, and countertops.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management.
- Follow all company safety policies, sanitation standards, and cleaning procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in office environments.
- Maintain detailed logs of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings with a focus on quality service
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care, buffing, stripping, and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours
- Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus; familiarity with residential painting or industrial cleaning is advantageous
