The Workflow Solutions Specialist focuses on designing, developing, and implementing efficient and automated workflows for customer deployed applications. Their duties include improving the user experience, streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless integration across different platforms. This often involves collaborating with various teams like software engineers and product managers to understand their needs and create solutions that enhance productivity and performance.
Essential functions:
- Workflow Design and Development: Designing and developing automated workflows using workflow automation tools and platforms.
- Customer Service Workflows: Automating tasks in customer service interactions.
- Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of workflows across different systems and applications.
- Automation: Implementing automation to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities for automation, and implement solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and maintaining application performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Identifying and resolving issues related to workflows and applications.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for workflows and applications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
- 1-3 years' experience in IT or software development.
- Strong understanding of workflow automation tools and platforms.
- Understanding of networking, including, BGP, internet routing, and the difference between transit and peering
- Understanding of HTTP/s, TCP, TLS, DNS, HLS, DASH, Load Balancing, Apache, NGINX
- Experience with internet and cloud-based architecture. This includes an understanding of bare metal deployments as well as cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Familiarity with programming languages and standards such as Java, Groovy, and XML.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to existing workflows and applications.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage projects related to workflow development and implementation.
- Ability to build client relationships easily
- Analytical ability and great problem-solving skills
