The Assistant Branch Manager will assist the Branch Manager with branch operations, coaching activities, as well as achieving growth and service quality goals, typically in a smaller and/or lower volume office.

  • Identify branch sales initiatives and cross-selling efforts to deepen customer relationships
  • Represent the Bank in public relations activities and community affairs
  • Help lead the team to achieve growth and service quality goals

  • Ability to identify opportunities to deepen relationships and deliver value to customers
  • Oversee daily operations of the branch and assist with coaching and developing staff
  • Strong understanding of consumer and business products


Analytical Thinker –

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and variety of other technology platforms
  • Research and resolve customer account discrepancies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task


What You'll Do:

  • Coach team members to improve knowledge and skills in operations and relationship management
  • Oversee branch operations and ensure audits are satisfactory
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere in the branch
  • Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop relationships with customers, especially those who have more complex banking needs
  • Model relationship management activities for the team including exceptional customer interactions, proactive outreach, and coordination with other business partners
  • Ensure security protocols are followed and manage security equipment

Requirements
  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • One to two years of experience in a financial institution
  • Excellent customer service skills utilized for both internal and external customers
  • Strong and positive verbal, and written communication, and supervisory skills
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulatory matters and procedures for proper operation
  • Ability to work well within a team, in shared roles, with flexible hours, including Saturday
