COME JOIN OUR TEAM AT REEFER PETERBILT! Reefer Peterbilt is a second-generation family-owned medium & heavy-duty truck dealership looking for a Full-Time Service Advisor in Auburn Hills, MI. This individual must be customer-oriented, be a team player, highly organized, and motivated. No prior experience is required; however, it is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming service calls, schedule service appointments, and maintain communication
• Welcome customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain necessary vehicle information
• Help identify mechanical problems by carefully listening to customer concerns and doing visual inspections
• Open repair order with detailed descriptions of customer concerns on repair orders to familiarize technicians on work to perform
• Ensure customer approval on all estimated repairs
• Follow up progress of each repair order during the day
• Close repair orders to include required documentation and information according to policy/procedure and state laws
• Explain all diagnoses, work performed, and any repair order charges to the customer
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• Check in new trucks delivered to the shop and complete the proper forms
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Working knowledge of computers and proficient in web navigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Must pass Pre-employment physical, drug, and background check

• $23.00/hour - $29.00/hour, based on experience

Job Type: 

• Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, Days (8 hour shift)
• Rotating Saturday, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm
