Nurse Manager (RN) Responsibilities:


As a Nurse Manager (RN), you will provide clinical leadership and oversee the daily nursing operations within your assigned unit to ensure the highest quality of resident care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs 
  • Overseeing resident care plans and ensuring quality clinical outcomes 
  • Administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies 
  • Maintaining accurate and timely resident documentation 
  • Monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations 
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being 
  • Building positive working relationships with residents, families, and team members 
  • Assisting with staff development, coaching, and performance management
Requirements

Nurse Manager (RN) Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois 
  • Current CPR Certification 
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory nursing experience 
  • Minimum of 3 years of long-term care experience 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
